Happy Monday everyone!
My apologies for not posting this yesterday... it has been a crazy week! Let me tell you all about it.
So... as you know, every person on stage has a cover or understudy that can go on for them in the show if someone is sick or on holiday. But for them to be able to do that, they need to rehearse. And then before they can officially go on in a show, we need to run the full show (without an audience) so that all the people covering the different roles can get the full experience... so they know how much time they will have for costume changes or little breaks etc. This is called a "put-in."
So, this week, we had covers for the Queen, Bulda and Pitzbühl having their final rehearsals and their put-in. As I said, this is when we run the show fully with costumes, lights, orchestra etc, but without an audience.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we rehearsed and ran the show, as well as our normal evening performances. So, most of the cast (including me) really played 11 shows this week because of the rehearsals, not just the normal 8 evening and matinee shows.
So, that's why I'm tired now and why I didn't get around to posting this weekend update yesterday. Haha. And also because I was busy finishing the jigsaw puzzle that Jasmin gave me. Haha. Thank you Jasmin. I will post a photo of it hanging on my dressing room wall sometime later this week.
I do have a little surprise for you though. Kim (Alternate Anna) and I asked one of the cast to sneak into the theatre last week to film "Liebe Sie öffnet t'ürn."
So, as a sneak peak for you... and only for you. NO SHARING PLEASE :-)

wow 😍 and thanks !!!
Thanks for this-for all of us who can't attend 😉 what a week for all of you working in the theatre! And fingers crossed for all the covers 🥳
Oh wow, this really sounds like an extremely busy week! 5 doube shows in a row!👏🏻
Thanks sooo much for sharing this video with us! Can't wait to see it live on stage in February! Große Vorfreude!🤗
Hahaha you are welcome! It‘s nice to hear that you finished the puzzle!
I love Liebe sie öffnet tür‘n! But it‘s so much better when you are in the audience and you can see the facial impressions (especially yours hahah)! So everybody should go and see it!!
Paying for seats in the front rows is definitely worth it!!
