Weekend Update :-)

Happy Sunday everyone!

It's currently the interval of the Sunday matinee performance. I'm a little bit tired as I was teaching a singing lesson this morning, but the show is going very well.

Today we have a special guest in the audience, Motsi Mabuse. If you don't know her, look her up. We're getting a photo with her after the bows today. I'm sure you'll see that photo on Instagram sometime soon.

I got this beautiful keychain this week - I HAD to share with you. I forgot the name of the woman who gave it to me, I'm sorry. But thank you. I love it! It reminds me of some of the amazing jewellery that was gifted to me during TdV. Most of my TdV things are still in Hamburg, but I DID bring some of the jewellery... Natürlich! :-)

My wife and I are driving to Cologne next weekend to see Moulin Rouge, so I'm looking forward to that and catching up with some friends that are in the cast. It will also be nice having a short break from Die Eiskönigin. I've got some mini holidays over the next few months, unlike TdV where I hardly had any holidays! THAT was hard work! That's why I made sure I scheduled a few mini breaks at least once a month or two.

Seeing Moulin Rouge is also a bit of homework for me as I want to audition for the role of Christian next time they have auditions. I want to make sure I have a really good idea of the show so I can prepare better. Like I mentioned in the previous post, you'll all know about We Will Rock You. I don't know if they'll see me for the role of Galileo knowing I'm busy playing Prince Hans, but you never know! :-)

Every now and then I look through my archive of performing photos and videos to see what I want to share with you. I found some videos I took in my hotel room during the 2016 Germany tour of The 12 Tenors. I got a keyboard set up in my hotel room in Berlin and spent the time there recording some songs. I'll be posting them this week.

One thing I did find, which I might have already shown you, is a photo of me when I toured Germany with The World of Musicals. I sang a short version of Totale Finsternis with one of the girls. Little did I know at the time that years later I would get a chance to actually PLAY Krolock.

The World of Musicals, Germany tour - 2014/'15

Antonio (The Duke in Moulin Rouge) and I will be rescheduling our Instagram Live for sometime soon, hopefully this week. We MIGHT even do something together when I'm in Cologne, but we shall see. Nothing is confirmed yet.

I've sent out all the photos and autograph cards, so everyone that sent me their address should have received one. If you haven't yet, please send me another message on the CONTACTS PAGE so I can send that out to you.

I have a secret, but you can't tell anyone - I've been speaking with my old agent in London about some potential auditions, so... you never know, I might end up in London again. But don't worry, Germany is my new home and I'll always come back! ESPECIALLY if/when TdV returns ;-)
