Throwback Thursday!

I think it's time for another throwback!


This time... we're going back to 2009-2011 when I studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

I have SO MANY photos from my time at WAAPA - and this was before I had ever seen an iPhone! All of them were taken on normal cameras - remember them? Haha.


I chose a small selection for you.


  1. Anything Goes (I was in the ensemble - can you guess which sailor I am?)

  2. 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (red hat, top left)

  3. Crazy For You (I played Eugene Fodor, an upper class Englishman)

  6. 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (I played a child, but also the father in "The I Love You Song." You should listen to it - such a beautiful song).

Of all of these shows, I think A Chorus Line was my favourite. It was a huge challenge as an actor and a dancer. But I loved it so much. I would definitely do the show again.

You are really easy to recognize in all the photos! 😂😉

I'm also a big fan of "A Chorus Line" and have watched the movie about a thousand times!😂 But even better, I was lucky to see the show on stage on Broadway many, many years ago! Loved it! 🤩

Last year in summer the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele showed "A Chorus Line" in a fantastic production. It's a great open air venue in the ruin of an old abbey! Big Orchester and always a wonderful cast! It was amazing and so successful that they show it again this summer! If you have the time (you have some days off in summer, right?) go and see it!👍🏻😉

Hahahaha it‘s hard so recognize that you are an apple user🙈😂 and yes, I guess I still know „normal cameras“😂😂

I saw Crazy For You in 2022 in London! But I can‘t remember a lot of things of the show😅

Haha it was great we just looked for which musical we can get spontaneous cheap tickets and ended with crazy for you. But I know that it was fun to watch and different from all the stuff I watched before🤔


And let me guess, you are the tall sailor on the right side?🤣
