The 12 Tenors

In the last post I spoke about the first time I toured Germany. Well... the next set of photos are from the next few times I toured Germany, this time with The 12 Tenors.

In 2014 I auditioned for The 12 Tenors, but I didn't get the job. The following year I got a call from my agent.

Agent: "Hey Simon, rememeber that show you auditioned for... The 12 Tenors?" Simon: "Yeah?"

Agent: "Well, they need another boy and they remembered you from the auditions last year so they've sent through an offer straight away for their 2015/'16 tour."

And that was that. I signed the contract and the day after my brother's wedding in Australia in late 2015, I flew straight to Erfurt to start rehearsals.

This is the tour that I met my wife on. It was our final show in Germany. It was actually a private performance for the owner of a hotel and my wife was a guest of the family. But I'll save that story for another time.
