There are some great cast-recordings of Tanz der Vampire out there - they all offer something so great.
Since we started, I knew I wanted to get something recorded of me singing and I finally put some time aside in the last week to set up a little sound studio in the theatre and recorded "Die Unstillbare Gier."
The funny thing is, it feels and sounds so different when you're singing it live on stage compared to trying to record it in a small room, right in front of a microphone.
I could go on and on about how I don't think it's perfect and how this and that doesn't sound exactly how I wanted, but ultimately - I don't care. I'm proud that I managed to record this during this busy week, our final week of the show, and that I can also share this with you. Something small that will remind you of this incredible show and also the small part we all played in it.
I hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as I enjoyed making it.
